I just realized something about 3x22

I heard that Julie Plec said that human Elena would always choose Stefan (as seen in 3x22), and although I wanna call BULLSHIT, I really really think this is the writer’s way of giving Stelena something significant so that when Delena is endgame Stelena shippers will have something to take away from that relationship that they can value. Basically she doesn’t want Stelena shippers to feel like they’ve wasted their time…
